The GO vehicle tracking device begins to collect data as soon as it receives ignition, providing a fleet or truck tracking system. The new GO9 includes faster GPS latching and increasingly accurate location information via the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) for an even better GPS vehicle tracking system.

Secured data

Geotab vehicle tracking software uses authentication, encryption and message integrity verification for Geotab GO vehicle tracking devices and network interfaces. Each Geotab GO fleet management device uses a unique ID and non-static security key, making it difficult to fake a device’s identity. Over-the-air updates use digitally signed firmware to verify that tracking system updates come from a trusted source.

Curb unsafe behaviours remotely

With in-vehicle audible alerts, you can automate driver safety management. Also suitable for truck GPS tracking systems, you can deliver immediate feedback to the driver, sounding an alert tone or a text-to-speech warning (via Add-Ons), when they break company rules, such as speeding or excessive idling.

Quick and easy installation

The GO vehicle tracking device plugs directly into the vehicle’s standard diagnostic port, the OBD II. It can be used as a vehicle or truck tracking device, with adaptors available for heavy vehicles when setting up a truck tracking system or other vehicle types if needed.
