Yamato Chemicals Thailand (YCT) established its first overseas subsidiary in October 1999 as a base for overseas expansion. The company has a main office in the export processing region (IEAT free zone) in the industrial park adjacent to the Laem Chabang Port to make effective use of preferential taxation system. The location has been advantageous to the exports to Japan and the ASEAN region. The plant is equipped with wide-ranging molding facilities including vertical and horizontal automatic injection molding machines and vacuum compression pressing machines, which allowed the company to accumulate a wide range of knowhow of manufacturing products with simple mold structure to complicated mold structure for 20 years in Thailand. Particularly, YCT takes pride in its extensive track record of manufacturing synthetic rubber parts mainly for automobile parts. The company can supply high-quality, low-priced rubber products and accommodate rubber products with a wide variety of volume from small lots to large lots.
