Yamato Chemicals Thailand (YCT) established its first overseas subsidiary in October 1999 as a base for overseas expansion. The company has a main office in the export processing region (IEAT free zone) in the industrial park adjacent to the Laem Chabang Port to make effective use of preferential taxation system. The location has been advantageous to the exports to Japan and the ASEAN region.
