TIPS container terminal is located 130 km. Southeast of Bangkok and is well served by new developed highways and rail networks. Inland waterways also provide another access to the port. In addition, our container terminal is linked with numbers of Container Freight Station (CFS) and Inland Container Depot (ICD) through Bangna-Trad, Lad Krabang area and other major arteries to all ports of Thailand.

Our Services

Vessel Operations

With 300 meters of berth space, a 14 meters approach channel and a 14 meters draft at the berth, TIPS can accommodate today’s post-Panamax vessels with ease. TIPS provides ship planning, scheduling and coordination services, and we also offer our expertise in container terminal operations to shipping lines, container vessel owners, charterers and operators. By utilizing the state-of-the-art planning and scheduling software Navis SPARCS N4, we can provide our clients with a complete range of services, assuring them of high productivity and efficiency at competitive rates.

Yard Operations

Our container yard services are all backed by the powerful capabilities of Navis software, which helps us manage the entire terminal operation in real-time by providing detailed information and graphical views of container inventories and vessel, rail, crane and container yard activities. Providing you with full visibility of your containerized cargo is just one way TIPS helps ensure the safe and timely delivery of your goods.

CY2

TIPS CY2 was designed to address our customers’ growth and need for additional space for containers. CY2’s main purpose is to provide extra space for efficient and flexible container management, namely for exports. Conveniently located within Laem Chabang Port, with a total area of 50,240 sqm, TIPS CY2 can hold up to 7,612 TEUs. Furnished with high performance lifting equipment and cutting-edge container management systems, TIPS can handle both laden and empty containers effectively and efficiently.

Container Freight Station

In addition to the traditional container terminal services, TIPS also offers CFS services for inspection, unstuffing and delivery of imports. Our CFS, located within B4 terminal, quickly and efficiently serves both importers and exporters of LCL cargo. Other unique features of the CFS include on- site customs clearance as well as prompt and reliable transshipment of LCL cargo to inland container destinations such as Lat Krabang ICD.

CD1

Located just a few km from B4, TIPS CD1 is a flagship container depot that offers an expansive 112,000 sqm facility with the capacity to store 15,000 TEUs of just about any kind of container you need – 20-foot, 40-foot, 45-foot, high cubes, flatbeds and refrigerated containers. TIPS CD1 is open 24/7 and ensures truck turnaround times of less than 20 minutes. We offer complete one-stop solutions with a full complement of services, such as empty container handling and storage, as well as dry and reefer storage. TIPS also prepares containers to operator standards, with first-class container maintenance and repair, washing and cleaning.

Warehouse

The newest addition to the TIPS arsenal is TIPS Warehouse. Just a few km from B4 and adjacent to TIPS CD1, the warehouse spans 24,306 sqm and is the ideal choice for effective, convenient and secure cargo storage and distribution. Since its grand opening on the 15th of January 2012, the facility has provided customers with top-notch warehousing and distribution services, such as cargo storage, container stuffing (including 50 kg bags and jumbo bags) and un-stuffing, and transportation of laden and empty containers.
