It was an extension of the logistic business that originally started in 1988. Eastmen shipping has,within its pool of resources, charter and operate modern handy and supramax vessels. We operate with a fleet of 7- 10

handy ships of 28 –37k dwt. Eastmen Shipping offers its services to producers and trading companies as a hedging tool against fluctuations in the deep sea freight market. We are dedicated to providing our customers with a dependable and flexible service allowing a high degree of scheduling flexibility and on time delivery. The company’s trademark in this unpredictable market is the flexibility of its operations. The vessels we operate principally serve the steel industry and utility companies by carrying iron ore and coal; commodities such as grain, pig iron, alumina and fertilizers are also frequent cargoes but not limited to: Iron orent and cement clinker , Cement , Coal , Alumina , Wheat and other grains , Gypsum , Salt , Steel , Fertilizers , Sugar , Limestone ,Coke and pet coke

The commodities we arrange to ship are dry bulk cargoes varying from cargoes for the agricultural products industry, such as rice and grain and fertilizers, to cargoes for heavy industry such as iron ore, coal, bauxite, alumina, steels and other dry bulk commodities.

In addition, As specialist dry cargo shipbrokers integrating market knowledge and experience leading our clients to the opportunity to benefit from our encompassing broking and consultancy service such as market information on daily basis, such as Dry Bulk Indices (BDI), bunker prices, available vessels, and our comments on the market and freight cover all charter types including voyage, trip charter, period and spot/forward contracts of affreightment on vessels sizes from small handysize up to supramax within ECSA – Japan range.
