The name “Biforst” is derived from Norse mythology, symbolizing a sacred bridge between men and gods, which reflects the core logistics business of the Biforst Group. Biforst was incorporated on 20 November 2003 in Malaysia under the Companies Act 1965 as a private limited company, operating under the name Biforst Logistics Sdn. Bhd.
Biforst commenced operations at the beginning of 2004 with a fleet of six small trucks, starting with three founders/operators and targeting multinational companies as its customers. Over time, Biforst expanded its reach to Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and India while maintaining its independence. As a result, Biforst streamlined its business to focus on third-party logistics (3PL) and fourth-party logistics (4PL) services. In addition to logistics, the brand has diversified its portfolio into various industries, including Technology and Software Systems, Retail, Agriculture, and Property Holding and Development.
