The highlight is Royal Paragon Hall’s initiative to become a model carbon-neutral venue with zero carbon footprint. Global warming is a top priority for us, and this has led to carbon footprint reduction guidelines for events consisting of four major activities: rethink, reduce, reuse, and recycle. To demonstrate our responsibility to the world, we offset the carbon footprint that cannot be reduced by purchasing carbon credits equal to the amount of emissions so as to achieve carbon neutrality, which is verified and certified by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization. As all the emissions from the use of electricity and water in their events are already calculated and included in the offset amount, the customers who organize functions at Royal Paragon Hall already demonstrate environmental responsibility. Royal Paragon Hall is thus a carbon neutral venue and the first venue in Thailand to undertake an initiative in this regard.
