Utoc Corporation was founded in 1890 as a pioneer in heavy goods transportation. Since then, Utoc has provided a diverse range of services related to the "movement" of things, including port unloading/loading, logistics, and plant construction services.

Utoc utilizes the collective strength of its port, logistics, and plant businesses to unleash the capabilities of the Utoc Group in all aspects of "directly managed, integrated operations services," including the unloading, overland transportation, barge transportation, and loading onto specialized ships of heavy cargo, as well as the local transportation and on-site installation of equipment.

Port Operation Professionals

Utoc conducts cargo-handling for container ships, car carriers, conventional ships, roll-on/roll-off (RO/RO) vessels, and other main ship cargo-handling at the Ports of Keihin (Tokyo and Yokohama) and other locations, as well as operation of container and RO/RO vessel terminals under the direction of major shipping companies such as Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd.. Utoc also provides integrated operation from ship space booking and import/export customs clearance to delivery to the designated location.

Utoc employs a structure that allows it to coordinate all parts of the process, from cargo-handling to local transportation and installation, within the Group, through import/export, customs clearance, and warehousing work that can accommodate all types of cargo, to provide the optimal transportation solutions. In addition, Utoc has been certified as an authorized warehouse operator and an authorized customs broker under the AEO Program, enabling the company to provide fast and appropriate customs clearance.
